BEFORE WE TALK

Good questions.
Honest answers.

Bring your own questions to the first call, or get in touch beforehand.

Ask Dan directly
01Is this for changing careers or progressing where I am?

Either can be a starting point. We can explore what you want from your current role, how to speak up about progression or whether a different direction makes sense for you.

02Can coaching help if I’m successful but feel unfulfilled?

Yes. You can use the work to examine what has changed, what you want more of and how your career fits the rest of your life. You don’t have to be struggling professionally to want a different experience of work.

03Can we work on confidence, leadership or pay conversations?

Yes. We can explore the assumptions that make those situations difficult, prepare what you want to say and practice a more considered approach. Decisions about roles and pay also depend on your employer and circumstances.

04Is this a resume writing or recruitment service?

The main focus is your direction, confidence, communication and decisions. If you need specific support with a resume, applications or job search, explain that on the first call so you can discuss whether Dan’s coaching fits your needs.

05What happens during the free call?

You’ll have 60 minutes directly with Dan to explain what’s happening and what you want to change. We’ll explore a useful next step and whether ongoing coaching makes sense. There’s no obligation to sign up.

06How much time does coaching take, and what does it cost?

Dan will discuss session arrangements, frequency and fees before you commit. You can also talk about the time you have available for putting agreed actions into practice between sessions.

07Will our conversations be private?

Coaching provides a private setting to discuss your working life. Ask Dan about confidentiality and any limits before sharing sensitive information or deciding to work together.

08Can I work with Dan from the United States?

Yes. Dan is a UK-based coach offering online coaching to men in the United States and internationally. Include your city and time zone when you apply. Dan will contact you to agree a suitable time and the online call details; an application does not confirm a booking.

A GOOD PLACE TO BEGIN

You don’t have to
